ABOUT ME

I'm Dr. Tom Wall 

 

I've spent the entirety of my 23-year career positioning whole life insurance and competing against its alternatives. I started in college as an award-winning advisor with Northwestern Mutual before moving my practice to MassMutual. There, I subsequently grew my career in prominent home office roles in sales and marketing leadership. In those roles, I developed into a renowned storyteller and product expert at perennial company conferences and firm meetings nation-wide.

I attained my Ph.D. in retirement income planning, with original research on Whole Life as a Fixed Income Alternative under the advisement of industry thought leaders Wade Pfau, Michael Finke, and Stephen Parrish. My focus is on academic integrity and decades of sales experience - which combine to make me a uniquely credible voice in the life insurance space.

I now coach and consult with financial advisors, host the Whole Life Masterminds study group, and published my first book called “Permission to Spend: Maximize Your Retirement with the Best Kept Secret in Personal Finance.” I live in the greater Boston area with my two sons age 14 & 11, and I'm an avid golfer and traveler.
